Clinical Training:
Corinne recently completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, Counseling Center, providing psychotherapy to college students. Corinne works with a wide range of presenting problems but has a particular interest in supporting those with disordered eating, body image concerns, sport and performance, anxiety-related disorders, interpersonal concerns, and those navigating life transitions. She has provided individual and group therapy, and conducted psychological assessments in a variety of settings, including hospital outpatient clinics, community mental health, private practices, and college counseling centers.
Corinne works to build a collaborative relationship with her clients to create a safe, non-judgmental space. She uses an integrative and individualized approach to psychotherapy informed by interpersonal, strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral, and relational frameworks. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the mountains with her puppy and partner, listening to live music, reading, and traveling.
Corinne Duffy-Strode, PsyD, LPC
Dr. Corinne Duffy-Strode (she/her) is a postdoctoral fellow at Front Range Psychological Services and is currently working towards obtaining her psychologist license in the state of Colorado. She earned her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and her Master of Arts in Sport and Performance Psychology from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver.
She has over six years of supervised clinical experience providing psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including college counselling, community mental health, hospitals, and private practice. Additionally, she has experience completing diagnostic, cognitive, and personality assessments for adolescents and young adults. As a postdoctoral fellow, Corinne receives ongoing supervision from Dr. Beaumund regarding all FRPS clients.
