Brian Beaumund

Dr. Brian Beaumund, as a licensed clinical psychologist (Colorado License #4397) and the director and owner of Front Range Psychological Services, is committed to enhancing the well-being of individuals, couples, and groups in the Denver area through psychotherapy and psychological assessments. His approach is deeply ingrained in a journey characterized by continuous learning and compassionate care, epitomizing a sincere commitment to both clinical practice and academic growth.

Education

Dr. Beaumund’s academic journey underscores a genuine dedication to knowledge and expertise. He commenced with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2008, laying the foundation for his compassionate and informed approach to mental health. Furthering his educational pursuits at the University of Denver, he earned a Master’s in 2012 and a Doctorate in 2014, both in Clinical Psychology.

Clinical Training 

Guided by an acknowledgment of the profoundly diverse spectrum of human experiences, Dr. Beaumund’s clinical training spans a wide range of concerns. His proficiency encompasses individual, couples, and group therapy, with a specialized focus on addressing men’s issues, trauma, grief and loss, and psychological evaluations. Acquiring diverse training in integrated care, college counseling, and community mental health settings, he remains dedicated to meeting individuals where they are on their unique journeys.

Professional Engagement

Dr. Beaumund is an involved member of the professional community, actively contributing both at the national and local levels. Alongside his membership with the American Psychological Association (APA) since 2010, he has dutifully served as a board member and Past President for the Colorado Psychological Association (CPA). His commitment to professional engagement reflects a sincere desire to nurture meaningful dialogue and provide support to the broader psychological community. Adding to his multidimensional role, Dr. Beaumund also serves as the Lead Editor for The Colorado Psychologist, highlighting the significance of shared insights and knowledge within the profession.

Beyond his impactful clinical work, Dr. Beaumund extends his contributions as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. Driven by an authentic desire to contribute to and engage in lifelong learning, his role underscores his commitment to the growth and development of future mental health professionals.
